GBB RANKINGS: Bedford North Lawrence up to second in ninth IBCA poll

The Indiana Basketball Coaches Association has released its ninth all-classes-combined poll of the 2012-13 Indiana high school girls basketball season, and Bedford North Lawrence is on the rise behind Hall of Fame Classic champion and still-No. 1.


The unbeaten Bull Dogs defeated both IBCA No. 2 Hamilton Southeastern (53-30) and IBCA No. 5 Evansville Mater Dei (63-55) in New Castle to remain atop the poll. Bedford’s Stars rise from third to second, while Merrillville moves up from fifth to fourth and Fort Wayne South jumps from seventh to fifth.
