BSw RANKINGS: Bloomington North’s turn to race up the charts

The Indiana High School Swim Coaches’ Association has released its fourth poll for the 2012-13 boys swimming season, and this week’s team on the move is Bloomington North as the Cougars rocket up from 13th all the way to fifth.
That puts the Cougs behind holdover Nos. 1-4 Chesterton, North Central (Indianapolis), Northridge, and Carmel.
The rankings are made up by scoring a theoretical 16-place meet using the times/scores of the returning Top 18 individual event times from last year’s sectionals and state finals as well as the fastest reported times of this season.
Teams are listed by ranking followed by school and vote total. The IHSSCA’s Top 52 from Dec. 24:
