BSw RANKINGS: North Central (Indianapolis) screaming up the charts

The Indiana High School Swim Coaches’ Association has released its third poll for the 2012-13 boys swimming season, and the team on the rise this week is North Central (Indianapolis) as the Panthers catapult all the way from 12th to second behind holdover No. 1 Chesterton.
Northridge (was second), Carmel (was third), and the combo of Carroll (Fort Wayne) and Columbus North (tied for fifth) round out the first five.
The rankings are made up by scoring a theoretical 16-place meet using the times/scores of the returning Top 18 individual event times from last year’s sectionals and state finals as well as the fastest reported times of this season.
Teams are listed by ranking followed by school and vote total. The IHSSCA’s Top 52 from Dec. 17:
