The Indiana Association of Track and Cross County Coaches has released its seventh poll of the 2012 Indiana high school boys cross country season (we missed the sixth one last week – sorry!), and Carmel continues to cling to the top spot one week ahead of sectionals.

The state record-holding 11-time state champion Greyhounds – their last came in 2008 – pace a first five of Carroll (Fort Wayne), Westfield, six-time champ Valparaiso (last in 2000), and defending state runner-up Hamilton Southeastern. The Top 10 is rounded out by Warsaw, three-time defending state champ (and five-time overall king) Columbus North, Bloomington South, Lawrence Central, and Lawrence North.
