GXC RANKINGS: Next-to-last girls poll shows Carmel at the top

The Indiana Association of Track and Cross County Coaches has released its seventh poll of the 2012 Indiana high school girls cross country season (we missed the sixth one last week – sorry!), and your leader one week ahead of sectional competition is Carmel.

The two-time defending state champion Greyhounds lead a first five of West Lafayette, Carroll (Fort Wayne), Hamilton Southeastern, and two-time defending state runner-up Columbus North. The Top 10 is rounded out by Eastern (Greentown), Terre Haute North, Franklin Central, Northridge, and Center Grove.
