The Indiana Soccer Coaches Association has released its fourth set of girls soccer rankings for Class 2A (the state’s largest grouping of soccer-playing schools), and we find a somewhat unusual swapping of spots as Hamilton Southeastern trades places with Evansville Memorial in going from fifth to second behind holdover No. 1 Carmel.

Elsewhere, we see South Bend St. Joseph’s inching up from seventh to sixth, Zionsville rising from ninth to seventh, and Columbus East climbing from 12th to 10th.

The fourth ISCA poll for Class 2A from Sept. 3, listed by ranking followed by school and vote total (thank you, Greg Davidson!):

1. Carmel (220)
2. Hamilton Southeastern (193)
3. Carroll (Fort Wayne) (189)
4. Avon (182)
5. Evansville Memorial (171)
6. South Bend St. Joseph’s (166)
7. Zionsville (154)
8. Fort Wayne Dwenger (137)
9. Brebeuf Jesuit (121)
10. Columbus East (109)
11. Noblesville (106)
12. Fishers (102)
13. Guerin Catholic (101)
14. Crown Point (87)
15. Homestead (73)
16. Westfield (47)
17. Valparaiso (45)
18. Northridge (42)
19. Warren Central (32)
20. Evansville North (16)
