SB RANKINGS: No changes among four leaders

The Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association has released its fifth set of polls for the 2012 high school softball season, and there is no turnover at the top of the four classes as we enter May.
Class 4A Hamilton Southeastern, 3A Mishawaka Marian, 2A South Putnam, and 1A Tecumseh remain atop their respective rankings. Elsewhere inside the Top 10s …
- 4A: Floyd Central climbs from ninth to eighth, Greenwood goes from 11th to ninth, and Jennings County jumps from 15th to 10th.
- 3A: Woodlan swaps spots with Gibson Southern in going from third to second, North Harrison inches ahead from seventh to sixth, Kankakee Valley climbs from 14th to seventh, Jimtown jumps from 21st to ninth, and Mississinewa moves from 12th to 10th.
- 2A: Madison-Grant goes from ninth to third, Indianapolis Scecina slides up from sixth to fourth, Hebron bumps up from eighth to seventh, Frankton rises from 11th to ninth, and Eastern (Greentown) goes from 12th to 10th.
- 1A: Tecumseh tacks up from seventh to fifth, Indianapolis Lutheran moves from eighth to seventh, and South Central (Union Mills) leaps from 16th to ninth.
