At the same time, the theme behind Oldsmar's Day 2 performance is identical to Day 1: Strong effort. A strong comeback. A last second play to change up the game. Oldsmar Christian was in a battle with yet another team that most pundits would pick if looking at resume and athleticism alone. However, the well-coached Oldsmar team did what they seem to always do: lull opponents to sleep with their basic basketball while making that opponent think they are more comfortably ahead than they really are. This is the second day where the team opposing Oldsmar ran the floor with dunks, fancy passes, and runs that would do some teams in. Oldsmar packs a powerful punch because they weather each storm and find a way to remain in striking distance no matter how far ahead the other team tries to push. They fought back to get back in the game and take the lead against Mack Academy until Mack hit a 4-point play to get the go-ahead point and win by a score of 64-63.
