Hoops in Overdrive Shoot-Out


There wasn't much brewing for Brew Tech as this game started off. They were getting outhustled and outsmarted in the first 5 minutes or so. Then something clicked and Brew Tech realized that hustle and going to the hole strong would give them a much better chance of winning the game. #10 Greg Jones of Gadsden dominated the boards for the majority of the game, and he did a great job of finishing strong around the rim when he got the ball from the Gadsden guards. Brew Teach's Giovanni Smith tried to rally Brew tech with defense and a dunk that woke his team up a little bit, but in the end, Gadsden outrebounded Brew Tech and hit free throws in the closing minutes in order to come away with the W, 66-62.
