St. Marks defeated Oak Ridge Military Academy by a score of 55-41 on Friday. This 14 point win did not look like it was on the way, judging by how flustered Oak Ridge seemed to have St. Marks initially. St. Marks had no rhythm on offense and Oak Ridge controlled the pace of the game for quite awhile after tip-off. It appeared that the physical play of Oak Ridge lit a fire under St. Marks as they turned up the D, hit more shots on O, and unleashed the beast that was #34 of St. Marks. He crashed the boards, finished strong in the lane, and showed body language that said "We got this. Let's go!". The second half of the game seemed to be a two hand dunkfest for him. Oak Ridge was a good squad that came out rolling on all cylinders, but St. Marks played with ennough poise to shake off the slow start and win convincingly.
