Home » Newspaper NewsKasie GoodfellowMarch 22, 2011 By Casey Lim of Holden High SchoolAs many of you may know Kasie Goodfellow has juvenile arthritis. With all the hurdles Goodfellow has overcome through her disease, she knew she wanted to help others with arthritis for her senior project. When you have arthritis you cannot play sports. Kids with arthritis have to find a different way to express themselves. Goodfellow, being very into music, decided to have a talent show for kids with arthritis to showcase their talents. The talent show includes everything from music to art work. Goodfellow explained, "it gives the kids a chance to forget about their disease." Goodfellow's benefit will be on April 9th between 2-5 pm at the Kansas City Scottish Rite Temple. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. Everyone is welcome to come. Goodfellow stated, "I hope to make this day mean as much to someone else as it does to me." Goodfellow will also be featured on Fox 4 at 9 pm on March 30th through the weekend.
