Holden High School Advance 5 Wrestlers To State Tournament

The following wrestlers will be representing the Holden Eagles at the MSHSAA State tournament:

125 Trever Glynn

130 Auston Gerth

145 Max Mickey

152 Jacob Giffin

171 Jacob Reiman

Here are some of their accomplishments:

Trever Glynn: 35-10, 2 time state qualifier, 3^rd @ Grain Valley Invitational, 4^th @ Harrisonville Christmas 2-day Tournament, 3^rd @ Butler Tournament, 3^rd @ Lathrop Tournament, 2^nd @ Richmond Invitational, and 4^th @ MRVC Conference Tournament. Trever finished 2^nd at districts. In the first round of state the state tournament he will be competing against a Lexington wrestler who he has pinned all season long.

Auston Gerth: 39-7, 2^nd @ Grain Valley Invitational, 4^th @ Harrisonville Christmas 2-day Tournament, 3^rd @ Butler Tournament, 1^st @ Richmond Invitational, and 2^nd @ MRVC Conference Tournament. Auston finished 3^rd at districts, and in the first round of state he will be competing against a wrestler from Rock Port.

Max Mickey: 26-14, 3^rd @ Grain Valley Invitational, 2^nd @ Butler Tournament, 1^st @ Lathrop, 4^th @ Richmond Invitational, and 5^th @ MRVC Conference Tournament. Max finished 3^rd at districts, and in the first round of state he will be competing against a wrestler from Whitfield, a private school out of St. Louis.

Jake Giffin: 25-23, 3^rd @ Grain Valley Invitational, 2^nd @ Lathrop Tournament. Jake finished 4^th at districts, and will be competing against a Richmond wrestler at state.

Jacob Reiman: 42-0, 4 time state qualifier, 2 time state medalist, 3 time district champion, 2 time MRVC all conference, 1^st @ Grain Valley Invitational, 1^st @ Butler Tournament, 1^st @ Richmond Invitational, and 1^st @ MRVC Conference Tournament. Jacob finished 1^st at districts, and in Round One of the state tournament he will face off against a South Holt wrestler who Jacob has pinned earlier in the season.
