HAH wins the Sandlott Midstate Regular Season Championship for the 4th time in 5 years. They also won the Sandlott Super League Southern Regular Season Championship. More important than the championships is the memories that are created. For every championship they have won, there have been numerous memories created. HAH is a 1st class organization and they do things the right way. Their players learn about baseball and life skills from Coach Nate Brown. 

Coach Nate Brown is a great coach and a lifelong friend to his players. He has a unique opportunity to have an influence on kids at an age when they are very willing and eager to learn. Coach Brown has coached this team for 5 years. He relates to the players in a way that parents cannot, but he is not just a friend, he is an authority figure. He has been to a place that his players want to go. He relates in a way that makes there dreams seeem possible but you have to work. He makes each player feel that they are a little better than they actually are, but he keeps them humble. Baseball is not the most important thing in life, but when it is kept in the proper perspective and used in the right way, it is a very important tool. Baseball paralells life in many ways. 

It is not just the success on the field that is important, but it is how you use that sucess to help you be a better person in your community. To play baseball today is an incredible priveledge that most kids take for granted. Most players today that play on a select team do not know how special the opportunity that they have actually is. Baseball is a great team game that teaches life lessons. It takes a special player to be able to appreciate the opportunity that he has and make the most of that opportunity. Baseball in the south is a tradition and a priveledge. Baseball on the HAH 16 year old team is much more than that.
