Hillwood High School

In the Freshman Academy, Mr. Dimaria is the new math teacher. He was born and raised in Wisconsin. Then in 2002, he moved to Tennessee to attend MTSU and later got his degree in Math. Growing up, he’d always dreamed to be the quarter back for the Green Bay Packers. “Unfortunately,” He says, “Aaron Rodgers beat me to it.”  In his spare time you can find him running, playing basketball, or hanging out with his friends and family. “I’m just your typical kind of guy,” Dimaria says.

In the Public Health Academy, Mr.Clodfelter is Hillwood’s newest English teacher, taking Ms.Yeoman’s place. He’s lived in Nashville since he was a young boy. He attended Hillwood High School and played basketball, football and ran track. He graduated with the class of 2006 and then he attended The University of St.Francis in Indianna. Clodfelter says he’d always wanted to be an English teacher, while growing up. This is his first year teaching and he says he’s enjoying every bit of it.

Replacing Mr. Weiss, Mr. Whitehouse is our newest math teachers at Hillwood. He was born and raised in Ohio. His whole life he dreamed about becoming a soldier. He fulfilled his dream by attending the U.S. Military Academy and served seven years in the Army. He was stationed in Germany for all seven years. Whitehouse currently lives in Fairview, TN and is attending Lipscomb University. He has a little eight-year old girl named Jasmine. Whitehouse says this is his first year as a teacher and he "loves it."
