IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE 2011 ARKANSAS STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

Due to inclement weather and unsafe water conditions on the Arkansas River we will be moving the location of the Student Angler Federation Arkansas State High School Bass Fishing Championship from the North Little Rock Riverfront Park Ramp to the Jolly Roger Marina at Lake Maumelle. The address for that facility is 11800 Maumelle Harbour Rd Roland, Ar. 72135

Please note that our registration will still take place at the North Little Rock Riverfront Park Pavilion from 4pm to 6pm with the mandatory rules meeting scheduled to start promptly at 6pm.

We would encourage all of you to continue to use the North Little Rock hotels that our host, the City of North Little Rock, as made available to us. The distance from those hotels to the Jolly Roger marina is approximately 30 minutes away so please support those facilities if possible.

We have been working with Arkansas Game and Fish and monitoring the river conditions for the last week before making this decision. Thank you for your patience and we look forward to seeing you in North Little Rock on Friday night!

Mandatory Check-in: Friday, May 6, 4-6 p.m. Central time, Riverfront Park, Locust Street Pavilion, North Little Rock, Ark. Rules briefing 6:00 p.m.

Takeoff & Weigh-in: (note the changes!) Saturday, May 7, Jolly Roger Marina at Lake Maumelle. The address for that facility is 11800 Maumelle Harbour Rd Roland, Ar. 72135 – 6am take-off; weigh-in begins at 2:30pm.
