Hawthorne opens district play with a 7-inning win against Bronson 5-0. Benjamin Burnsed started the game and went 6-innings. Allowing 2 hits, 1 walk and earning 11 strikeouts. The Hornets will host Bell on Tuesday, travel to Eastside on Thursday and host Trenton on Friday.
