Red (106) and runners-up Gordon Wagner (138) and Brian Wagner (182). Rylan McCarty (113), Robbie Elsea (145), Taylor Fee (126) and Nick Brickens (160) will move on as third or fourth-place finishers. Greenfield-Central advanced four of its 10 wrestlers, including regional chamipons Josh Farrell (152) and Austin Rose (170). Sam Locke (132) was a runner-up. Joe Hoskins (160) advances as a third-place finisher. Mt. Vernon had one wrestler -- Chance Ahlbrand at 195 -- who did not place from the Perry Meridian regional. In the team score, Perry Meridian won the regional with 230.5 points. Warren Central had 194. New Palestine was third with 139.5. Greenfield-Central's 104.5 points placed the Cougars fourth. Mt. Vernon was 20th with six points. Eastern Hancock had three wrestlers at the Richmond regional. One -- Nathan Kell (138) finished fourth and will compete in the semistate next week. He fell to Connersville's Robby Marschand (33-8) in the third-place match. Josh Ramage (195) placed sixth. Hunter Knopp also competed in the regional, but did not place at 170. Kell is 31-10 on the year. Ramage finishes his season 24-16. The top four wrestlers from each weight class the regional will move on to the New Castle semistate next week. At 106, New Palestine's C.J. Red improved to 40-0 on the year with a pin of Crispus Attucks' Maria Palma, a 5-1 victory over Roncalli's Ethan Briggeman and a 3:29 fall over Warren Central's Matthew McKinney -- whose two losses on the year have come to Red. At 152, Greenfield-Central's Josh Farrell also improved to 40-0 with a 20-5 tech fall of Speedway's Matt Beyer, a 22-7 tech fall of Franklin Central's Evan Rigel, and a 22-7 tech fall of Perry Meridian's Keanu Cooper. At 170, Austin Rose gave G-C a second regional champion by pinning Pike's Kalen Patterson in 1:42, defeating Tech's Greg Johnson 6-4, and then pinning Danny Herrick of Warren Central in 3:32.
