Tuesday wrap: G-C girls fall to Whiteland; NP gymnasts win

Whiteland 46, Greenfield-Central 32: The Cougars fell in their final regular-season home game of the year to a solid Whiteland squad.
Shelby Oldham led the Cougars with eight points and Regan Lewis scored six. Sara Jones added five for G-C.
Whiteland took a 15-8 lead after a quarter and maintained that lead throughout much of the first three quarters -- leading 21-14 at the half and 32-24 after three. But the Warriors outscored G-C 14-8 in the fourth to win the game.
Michaela Harris scored 16 points and Chelsea Perry 14 to lead three Warriors in double figures.
G-C is now 8-11 heading into Thursday's regular season finale at Greenwood. Whiteland finishes the regular season 10-11.
Dragons beat Noblesville: New Palestine's 13th-ranked gymnastics team beat Noblesville 103.35-96 on Tuesday night.
Kenzi Hoffman was the all-around winner (35.15). She won on vault (9.25), bars (8.525) and balance beam (8.925). She was fourth on floor. Kaytlin Fee was the winner on floor (9.25) and placed second on vault (8.925), third on bars (8.15) and sixth on balance beam. She was second in the all-around.
Other top-six finishers for the Dragons were Shelly Huesman, who was second on bars (8.35), fourth on beam and sixth on floor. Ciarra Hough was third on beam and floor. Kylie Zehner was fourth on vault and tied for fourth on floor with Hoffman. Annabelle Dockins was fifth on beam.
The Dragons compete Saturday at the Rushville Invitational.
