Home » Football News7 county athletes named IFCA Academic All-StateJanuary 22, 2013 Hancock County SportsSeven athletes from Hancock County high schools were named to the Indiana Football Coaches Association Academic All-State team.
The Academic All-State players are nominated by their coaches and chosen by region. They are selected for their work in the classroom. All are seniors.
Four of the Academic All-State players are from Greenfield-Central -- Dakota Bonerider, Tanner Mayfield, Benjamin Scheiter and Bryce Towle. They're joined by Mt. Vernon lineman Brandon Lindman, and two New Palestine players -- Sam Wright and Zach Weldon.
