The Grizzly Cubs were ranked No. 2 in the state behind Perry Meridian in both major polls. The Dragons were No. 11 in the IndianaMat.com poll and No. 20 in the IWCA poll. Each team won seven matches on the day. Rylan McCarty (113) had the Dragons' lone fall of the match, registering a fall at 5:19. Other winners for NP were C.J. Red (106), Taylor Fee (126), Gordon Wagner (138), Robbie Elsea (145), Brian Wagner (182) and Willie Bryan (285). All won by decision. New Palestine finishes the dual meet season with a 23-1 record. The Dragons will next compete in the Shelbyville sectional on Jan. 26.
