New Palestine 43, Beech Grove 36: The Dragons scored the game's final eight points to beat the Hornets and score their first road victory of the season.

Haley Stratman's 3-pointer out of the corner with 3:30 left gave the Dragons the lead for good at 38-36, and NP never allowed another point. After forcing a stop, Carly Hackler hit a free throw to make it a three-point game, but Stratman rebounded the missed second shot, leading to Emma Laughlin hitting two more to make it a 5-point edge. BG was unable to score on five straight possessions in the final two minutes, and Natalie Kehrt salted the game away with two more free throws.

NP was led by Stratman's 16 points, including 4-of-9 from 3-point range. It was her second-highest point total of the season. She had three boards and two steals. Laughlin had a career-high 13 points on 4-of-10 from the floor and 5-of-7 from the line. She also had two assists, four rebounds and two steals. Kehrt had nine points, hitting all seven of her free throw attempts, to go along with three boards. Katlyn Keele added a team-high six rebounds and two assists. Gia Nitschke had four boards and five steals. Hackler also had two assists and four rebounds.

BG was led by 15 points from Lizzie Giller.
