The Cougars improved to 6-9 on the season heading into a Jan. 15 game at Muncie Central. It was also G-C's third victory in its last four outings. G-C trailed 27-26 at halftime, but outscored the Panthers 13-8 in the third quarter to take a four-point lead going into the final eight minutes, then had a 19-5 fourth quarter to finish the victory off. Shelby Oldham had 16 points and Sara Jones 15 for the Cougars. Shelby Davis added 10 and Regan Lewis seven. Kori Biehl had 12 points and Emily Thomas 11 for Knightstown (9-6).
