EH rallied from a 4-0 deficit, scoring five runs in the bottom of the sixth to take an 8-5 lead, and then held off the Spartans in the seventh. Cody Wallace hit two homers and drove in three runs. Cole Fout also homered for the Royals. EH also had its running game going, stealing 10 bases. Cole Fout struck out three in three innings of relief, allowing three hits and two runs to get the win, while strking out three. Austin Denny and Kyle Kramer each allowed one earned run in two innings of work. EH pitching combined for 11 strikeouts, with Kramer fanning five. The Royals are now 1-1. They next play Saturday against Shenandoah in a doubleheader. New Palestine rained out: New Palestine's scheduled game at Martinsville was rained out.
