Home » Boys' Basketball NewsPenley, Pyle named to Top 100 listMarch 20, 2012 Hancock County SportsNew Palestine senior Josh Penley and Eastern Hancock senior Jared Pyle have been named to Hoosier Basketball Magazine's Top 100 seniors list. The 100 will be pared to 60 for the annual Top 60 workout, which will be held April 1. Penley was the second-leading scorer for a New Palestine team that went 16-7 and won its second straight sectional title. He has been a part of three sectional championships for the Dragons during his high school career -- the only player in New Palestine history to do so. Already named to the IFCA North-South All-Star football game, Penley is a versatile and strong multi-sport athlete and will continue his career at an undecided college to play football. Pyle was the second-leading scorer for a Royal team that reached double-digit wins all four years of his career. He will play collegiately at Anderson University next year.
