Hancock draws Ohio in 3rd Region Tourney

The Lady Hornets led by Coach Mike Orr look to continue their postseason run as they prepare for a regional matchup against Ted Hill’s Lady Eagles of Ohio County. The two squads are set to tip off the 2012 3^rd Region Girls Basketball Tournament at the Owensboro Sportscenter beginning tomorrow night (Monday, February 27) at 6:00 PM CST. Hancock County comes into the regional tournament with a 17-12 record, as Ohio County has produced 21 wins and 11 losses on the season. The two ball clubs met once during the regular season as Ohio County prevailed 50-45 in a hard fought matchup at the Hornets’ Nest on February 14, 2012.
