Lady Hornets lose battle to Ohio Co.

The Lady Eagles relied on perimeter shooting as McKenzie Tichenor led Ohio with 18 points and a 50-45 win over the Lady Hornets on Valentine's night in Hawesville. Hancock County was led in points by Brenna Basham with 16, and Beth Rates compiled a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. The Lady Hornets next opponent strolls into town Friday night as the Grayson County Cougars look to ruin a girls/boys doubleheader as the Hornets celebrate Senior night.
