09/15/14: FOOTBALL and CHEERLEADERS: turn in pictures to Mrs. Jenkins room 403 by Monday September 15. FIT FOR LIFE MEMBERS: go by Mr. Clawson room and get your permission slip for the hike Wednesday. HOMECOMING CANDIDATES: paperwork can be picked up in Mrs Thomas's room. STUDENTS:turn in paperwork to the cafeteria for lunch. CLASS OF 2016: Jostens will be here to take paperwork for class rings on Thursday, Sept. 18th. NATIONAL HONAR SOCIETY: Meeting tomorrow. Tuesday Sept. 16th at 7:30am in Mrs. Davis's room. SENIORS: vote for t-shirt design on Tuesday Sept. 16th during lunch, price will be determined after the winner is chose. POWDERPUFF SIGN-UPS: sign- ups will be on Mrs. Davis's door for each class. You must be on the list to play including coaches. Everyone will be meeting with their group next Tuesday, Sept. 23rd for the rules. Anyone interested being the announcer see dMrs. Davis. FOOD DRIVE: the 1st period with the most lb.s of food will get breakfast. this will be taking place between Sept. 15th- Sept 26th. Help the Community by supporting this drive. COMMUNITY FUN DAY: this Saturday all seniors planning on working see Mrs. Banner for details on the job your going to be doing. Help Support the class of 2015's Prom!
09/03/2014: STUDENT COUNCIL-will meet Thursday at 7:30am in Ms. Shelton's room. Congratulations to the HHS Girls Golf Team for qualifying for next week's Regional at Link Hills Country Club in Greeneville. Hannah Brumitt and Savana Weddle will be playing on Monday, 9/15. Teachers and Students- Our 3rd annual food drive is taking place September 15th- September 26th. The 1st period with the most pounds of food will receive breakfast. Please help our community by supporting this food drive. All non-perishable food items are acceptable. STUDENTS- anyone who picked up an application for Student Council please remember the due date is closing in! If you did not pick up an application and would like one see Ms. Shelton or Mrs. Barr. GREEN TEAM- green team see me during the next club meeting. Mrs. Browder. National Honor Society- Please see Mrs. Davis during the next club meeting session. Save the date- October 7th a FAFSA Completion program will held at Valley Forge Freewill Baptist Church. This will be available for all seniors throughout Carter County to learn about financial aid, lottery scholarships, Tennessee Promise and other valuable information. Seniors- The t-shirt design contest begins Tuesday, Sept. 2nd! Design a unique t-shirt that represents your class well! No vulgarity will be accepted; please bring appropriate designs only. If computer generated, include the font name, size, and any other pertinent details that may assist the screen printer. Desighns will be accepted by Mrs. Davis through September 12th. A vote will be held on the following Monday. Pricing will be determined once the winning t-shirt is declared. Do not interupt my class to submit a design!!!
