The 8th grade girls played against Centralia Saturday morning and unfortunately were defeated 37-8. The girls were unable to put things together and score points. There were many mistakes that cost them the game. Hopefully they can turn things around for tonight! They play at 6pm in the North Gym against Columbia Catholic. from 7th grade girls coach Josh Lancaster
On Friday night, we completed our season by taking on the Fayette Falcons. We ended the season on a high note, winning 31-13. This was one of our better defensive outings as we held Fayette to 6 points through 3 quarters. The win ends our season with a record of 4-10. I'm very proud of the girls, the work they put in this year, and the improvement I saw throughout the season. I was honored to be able to coach them and would like to thank the parents for all their support throughout the season. from 7th grade boys coach Steve McMullin The seventh grade boys team ended their season on Friday night in the West Gym by challenging Fayette. I am really proud of the boys, they ended a tough season with a win. The Indians won an exciting game by executing to score on an inbounds play with 3 second left to win by a score of 29 to 28. The team was led in scoring by Tyson Hicks with 8 points and Cale Dinyer and Brayden Blakemore each added 5 points. Every player got significant playing time and contributed to the win. I am happy to report that each player on the team improved their basketball skills this season and ended the season on a high note. Thank you for the terrific fan support all season long.
