Versailles Tournament results

On Saturday we traveled to Versailles to compete in a 12 team tournament. We lost two tough sets to California, but the girls played very strongly. Our second match of the day was with Versailles, which we won. We closed pool play with Calvary Lutheran and came away with a win. We made it through pool play with a record of 2-1 which found us with the fourth seed overall out of the 12 teams. The fourth seed in bracket play (in the afternoon) put us up against a tough Green Ridge team for our 4th game of the day. Our girls had a tough time getting started in that match which we dropped in two sets. We ended the day 2-2 overall, but were very happy with our overall performance for the day. After this weekend our record stands at 10-13-1.

We play AT Tipton on Monday night, JV starts at 6pm with Varsity immediately following. Our next/last HOME GAME is SENIOR NIGHT on Friday night, October 21st. Varsity will play first starting with Senior Recognition at 4:50 and game at 5pm. JV will play after the Varsity game is complete.
