Lady Indians defeat Eugene 8-5

The Lady Indians improved on both defense and offense last night to defeat Eugene 8-5. The Lady Indians scored 4 in the 2nd inning, 2 in the 3rd, and tacked on 2 more in the 7th.

Alex Elkin 2-4

Kylie Bonnes 3-4, 3 runs, 2 RBI's (2 Run HR in the 3rd)

Kendell Rock 3-4, 1 run , 2 RBI's

Sam Browning 1-2, 1 run, 2 RBI's

Alex Elkin collected the win. She struck out 10, walked 2, and allowed 3 earned runs.

We are in action tomorrow at the Centralia tournament. We play Macon at 10:30am at Bicentennial Park.

Last night the girls traveled to Eugene and were victorious 8-2. It was a solid performance at the plate and in the field. The girls return to action for three games next week.
