The HHS wrestlers returned yesterday from a successful week of team camp at the University of Nebraska. All of the kids demonstrated technical improvement and got to work on technique with current Nebraska wrestlers, coaches and post-graduate wrestlers training for the Olympics at the NWTC.

The team was combined with West Central High School from outside of Sioux Falls, SD. We wrestled 16 duals against the following schools: Ankeny, IA, Bishop Carroll(Wichita)/Centerville, IA, Blue Valley West(KS)/Ord(NE), Central Cass (ND), Clay Center(KS)/Shawnee(KS)/Richmond(MO), Creston, IA, Grand Island, NE, Independence, TN, Kenyon-Wanamingo(MN), Mead(NE), Mitchell, SD, Osage, IA, Southwest(KS), Willard, MO, and a team of 14 day intensive campers from all over.

The team also got a chance to do a Q and A session with 2x NCAA Champion, 2x World Champion and 2012 Olympic Gold Medalist, Jordan Burroughs. Afterward the team was able to get a picture with Jordan. He is currently training in Lincoln for the World Championships in a few weeks.
