April 21: Centralia Invitational
We continued our improvement from our match on April 17th as we took to Centralia Country Club and had our best tournament outing of the season, placing 10th out of 12 teams but shooting a season low tournament score of 401.
Individually, we continued setting new career lows as Lee March shot a career low tournament round of 95 to lead our scoring. He was followed by Ryan Tarrence with a 96, Michael Culwell with a career low 103 (Michael shot a 49 on the front 9 which was a new career low 9 hole score for him), Steven Morris with a career low 107, and Clarence Morris with a career low 120.
April 23: Tri-County Conference Tournament
We took a small step back from our last 2 outings as we traveled to Oak Hills Golf Center in Jefferson City for the conference golf tournament. We shot our 2nd best tournament score of the season, 437, which placed us 8th out of 8 teams in the conference.
Individually, Lee March continued his steady play matching his career low round of 95 that he shot on Monday. He was followed by Ryan Tarrence with a 104, Steven Morris with a 112, Michael Culwell with a 126, and Clarence Morris with a 138.
April 24: Quad Match vs. Centralia, California, and Eugene
We traveled to the Club at Old Hawthorne for what was scheduled as an 18 hole varsity match. Due to weather, it turned into a 9 hole match and we came away shooting a team score of 229 falling to Eugene (157), Centralia (180), and California (181).
Individually, we were led by Steven Morris who matched his career low match round of 53. Ryan Tarrence came in right behind shooting a 54 followed by Lee March with a 56.
