JV Boys end season with loss at Harrisburg

The JV boys ended their season on Thursday at Harrisburg. There was a 2 quarter freshman game included.

Freshman:

The Indians started slow getting down 10-3 to start the game but played much better than the score shows. The Indians were outscored 23-7 in the 1st quarter. The 2nd quarter was much more competitive once they got their feet under them, outscoring Harrisburg 12-10. Harrisburg came away with the win 33-19.

Leading scorer Kaylope Breuer - 8

JV:

The Indians started off strong with an 11-2 advantage after the 1st quarter and took a 23-15 lead into halftime. The 2nd half saw Harrisburg storm back and tie the game at 48 at the end of regulation. The Bulldogs prevailed in OT with a 57-52 win.

Leading scorers - Justin Hendren 16 Max Belsheim - 12

The JV team ended the season at 7-9. For most of the players this was the first year playing significant time at the high school level. The staff is proud of the progress the players have made throughout the season and look forward to the seasons ahead with the core of young players.
