Hallsville High School hosts Quiz Bowl tournament

On Saturday, Mar. 16,  the Hallsville Quiz Bowl team hosted our first regular season tournament. Eighteen teams from around the state came to Hallsville to compete (i.e De Smet, Rock Bridge, Hickman, Helias, Richland, Washington, Troy, etc). We did not play in our own tournament but our kids instead acted as moderator, scorekeepers, timers, etc. The tournament went very smoothly with Hickman winning the tournament and De Smet taking second place.

Many of the schools were very complimentary of our facilities. They loved the pictures in the hallways (of the students) and the colorful classrooms. They also were very impressed with the politeness of our students and respectfulness of our students.
