Coach Blakemore honored for 300 wins

January 15, 2013
Hallsville High School

During halftime of Friday's varsity basketball game, George Rudisaile, Facilities and Transportation Director, presented Hallsville Athletic Director and Head Girls Basketball Coach, Brad Blakemore, with a trophy to honor a milestone in his coaching career.  On January 5, 2013, the win over Community R-6 at the Madison Tournament was Coach Blakemore's 300th win.

During the presentation, Blakemore was joined by his wife Sally and their children Brayden, Lauren, and Meredith, past and present assistant coaches, as well as current and past players of the Lady Indians team coached by Coach Blakemore.

With four conference championships, two district championships, and back-to-back third place finishes at State, Coach Blakemore has led the way in building a rich tradition of competitive basketball for our Hallsville girls. Since Saturday's win, there have been two more victories added to the total bringing the overall record to 302-166.

Coach Brad Blakemore receives a trophy commemorating his 300th win from Facilities/Transportation Director (and former athletic director) George Rudisaile.
