Friday evening the we faced Paris in the semi-finals. We had a rough first half and trailed 25 - 13. The girls played much better in the second half, even taking the lead on two different occasions in the forth quarter. We cut the score to 49- 50 with five seconds remaining, but Paris hit both of their free throws to seal the game. We lost by the final of 52 - 49. Fifteen missed free throws sealed our fate. The Indians were led in scoring by Nadine Kaufman and Jordan Dinyer with 11 points each.
We had a quick turn around game on Saturday against Community. The girls rebounded well from the loss the night before to defeat the Lady Trojans 53 - 34 to take home third place. The Indians were led in scoring by Jordan Dinyer with 14 points, Savannah Fisher had 9 points, and Katlin Proctor had 7 points. The team improves to 7 -4 on the season. We play Osage tonight at home in a JV/Varsity double-header starting at 6pm.
