JV Girls beat Fayette 42-32

Last night the Lady Indians hosted the Falcons of Fayette. We started out slow in the first quarter and struggled to block out. We got in early foul trouble and were giving the Falcons too many chances from the free throw line. We battled hard and were able to tie the game right at half with a three-pointer from Kortney Lebsock!

We came out stronger in the second half. We were strong on defense and rebounded well. We also shot well from the free throw line. We were able to gain a lead and hold it for the remainder of the game. We came out on the winning end of a 42-32 score. Brooke Alley had 16 points and Kortney Lebsock added 12. We were incredibly proud of the girls for making in-game adjustments and continuing to fight despite challenges.

Our next game is not until after break. We play at Harrisburg on January 4th. Tip off is at 6 P.M. We would love to see you there to support us!
