The 8th grade girls traveled to Columbia last night to take on Columbia Catholic. The game started out with a defensive battle between the teams. The score was 1-2 at the end of the 1st quarter and 1-8 at the half. Things picked up in the 2nd half but our shots were not able to fall. We ended up losing 5-22. This concludes our season with a record of 5-9.
I am very proud of the girls this season! They played very well as a team and hopefully learned a few things along the way. A few notes about our season-- We averaged 26.3 points per game. Hannah Stephens had a total of 177 points and averaged 12.6 points per game.
Thank you to the parents for all of the support at games, the snacks you provided and all of the running around you did for your daughter to get them to and from practices and games!
