Hallsville High Schoolfrom Coach Michael Benett
Last night the Indians played in the Semi-Final of the Centralia Tournament against Salisbury. The Indians using heart and desire played the Panthers extremely tough for 4 quarters. Unfortunately, the Indians couldn't overcome a late deficit and lost 66-60. The Indians were paced in scoring by Brendan Beatty with 15 points and Skyler Creed had 14.
I am extremely proud of how hard our guys played. We received many compliments after the game from other coaches and fans (including fans from Salisbury) on our boy's effort and desire.
We play again on Saturday in the Third Place game of the Centralia Tournament against the Sturgeon Bulldogs. That game tips at 6:30. Thank you for your support and hopefully we will see you Saturday.
