JV girls fall to Moberly in SoBo JV tournament

Last night the Lady Indians JV traveled to Southern Boone to take on the Spartans of Moberly, in the Southern Boone Tournament. The first half was a well fought battle and the teams went back and forth. The girls found some easy looks within the offense and caused Moberly to turn the ball over several times. We went into half time down by 4. In the second half, we continued to work, and despite some foul trouble and turnovers, we never gave up. We were very proud of the girls for fighting the whole game and remaining determined. Unfortunately, we came out on the losing end. The final score was 49-28.

We are very confident in the abilities of this group. We are encouraging them to become more confident in themselves. We believe that once they believe in themselves, they will be a tough group to compete against, night in and night out! We play in the 3rd Place game, at Southern Boone, on Saturday at 10:00 am.
