Hallsville '12 grad claims national archery title

The University of Missouri's Archery club hosted the USIAC 3D Nationals on Oct. 19-21 at Prairie Grove Shooting Sports in Columbia.

There were 19 schools represented and 106 competitors. Two Missouri shooters took home trophies this year, the first ever won by Mizzou team members. Kelsey Brandkamp and Thomas Gardner took home the Mixed Recurve Team Championship title.

Kelsey Brandkamp -one of our 2012 graduates and presently a freshman at MU, brought home the Female Recurve Championship trophy. 

The trophy is now proudly displayed at her father's shop (The Powder Horn on Paris Road in Columbia) if you ever get by there.  Kelsey also works in the shop.
