Centralia Trap event results

This past Saturday, Sept. 22, we took two teams to the Centralia FFA Alumni Trap Shoot. The wind was brisk and the air was cool, but we worked hard to stay competitive.

High Individual shooter was Branden Doering from Bowling Green, followed by 2nd High Individual Shelby Woods from Madison.

Reid Clemens came home with 3rd high individual.  Reid hit 45 of 50 targets.

Following closely behind was freshman Blake Calvert with a score of 43. Other team members were Tyler Ward 28/50, Parker West 36/50, and Pierce Jolly 32/50. Our team score of 184, placed us at 7th from a field of 27 teams.

Our second squad was at a very windy post and had a hard time getting on the birds and didn't place near as well. Team members were Jacob Maxwell, Jacob Knowles, Grant Ketchum, Tom German and Colton Estes.

Top three school were:

1st Place Team Paris with a 210

2nd Place team Bowling Green with a 206

3rd Place team Marceline with a 192

We are very young and have great potential for the coming years.

If you see any of these young men please congratulate them on their first competition.
