JV Softball Update

There are two games to update. Thursday of last week we traveled to Eldon and with some timely hitting we were able to snap our three game losing streak with a 5-2 victory.

Last night we were at Central Methodist University for a contest versus the New Franklin Bulldogs and came out on the wrong end of an intense game, losing 7-6. After two innings the Lady Indians led 6-2, but the last three innings we could not get key hits with runners in scoring position to allow New Franklin the comeback win.

Our next contest, if the weather cooperates, is at Centralia this evening. For the only time this season the JV will play first, followed by the varsity contest.
