A beautiful fall day, and a great day at the California Country Club on Tuesday for the Lady Indians golfers.

Nine schools competed at California, with Sacred Heart coming out ahead with a team score of 355 and 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place medal winners.

Taylor Hayes of Osage was medalist for the day with 76 on the par 72 course.

California took 2nd place with a team score of 386, and 6, 8 and 10th place medal winners.

Harrisburg's Amy Thornhill placed 7th with 95. Harrisburg's team score was 425.

Hallsville's Brittany Wise placed 9th with 97. No team score for Hallsville's 3 players.

Erica Shoop for Hallsville had her best 18 hole round with 58/56 for 114.

Billie McKinley shot 67/65 for 132 , not as good as her Paris Tournament round, but better than Salisbury ! Still great for a beginner !
