HS v. Sturgeon W 12-9

The Lady Indians hosted Sturgeon Tuesday night and came away with a 12-9 win. Hallsville held a 7-2 lead going into the top of the 6th with two outs. Sturgeon rallied with two outs and put 5 runs on the board to tie the game 7-7.

Hallsville answered the call in the bottom half with 5 runs of their own. Sturgeon scored 2 runs in the top of the 7th before Hallsville closed the door. The girls hit the ball well last night. 

We are at Eldon for a conference contest on Thursday.

Last night the Lady Indians were unable to defeat the Sturgeon Bulldogs 9-5. The Lady Indians were haunted by costly errors that led to a number of unearned runs for Sturgeon. While batting the Lady Indians showed some power by hitting two home runs and having some key two put hits.

The Lady Indians look to end their losing streak Thursday at Eldon.
