HS Softball v. Blair Oaks

September 19, 2012
Hallsville High School

from Coach Chris Pemberton

The Lady Indians suffered their first conference loss last night at Blair Oaks losing 3-7. The Lady Indians scored 3 runs in the 3rd including a 2 run HR. However the bottom half of the inning saw 2 Indians errors that led to 3 unearned runs for the Lady Falcons. The Falcon bats came alive and scored one in the 5th and 3 in the 6th to put the game out of reach.

JV update from coach Matt Heet

Monday night, the Lady Indians suffered their second consecutive loss to the Blair Oaks Falcons 6-1. Although the girls played well we did not catch many breaks, including a home run that was called a ground-rule double. The Falcons played sparkling defense and had enough timely hitting to defeat us in the end.

We are now 7-2 on the season and hope to break our skid at home Tuesday versus Sturgeon.
