Southern Boone update

Last night the Lady Indians faced off with the Southern Boone Eagles. The first game we played one of our better sets and won, 25-20. The second set we lost momentum battle errors and lost 18-25. This took us to a third deciding set. We started off rocky trying to gain momentum back and dug a pretty deep hole for ourselves. The girls worked back from a 10-22 deficit and played together bring the score to a tie at 25. We ended up losing 25-27 in the third set. I was so proud of how the girls banded together as a team and fought back.

Our next match up is this weekend at the Tipton Tournament. Next week we play at Versailles and Eldon.

Last night, the Lady Indians traveled south to take on the Southern Boone Eagles. JV was unable take control of the game and lost in two sets 22-25 and 19-25. We travel to Tipton tomorrow for the Tipton tournament. Next week we travel to Versailles and Eldon for games. We return home to face Eugene on Monday, September 17.
