MS Softball falls to Centralia in home opener

Last night (Thurs.) we hosted Centralia for our first game.

8th Grade: The girls played strong defense, holding them until the 3rd inning when Centralia had a rally of good hits. We battled back in the 5th and 7th innings (Hannah Ricketts with a solo home run!) but came up short, losing 3-8.

8th Grade plays again tomorrow in the Centralia Tournament @ 8:00am.

7th Grade: The girls had a great start to their season facing one of our toughest competitors! We had many great hits and very few errors that left us coaches very impressed with our new 7th grade bunch. We finished the game strong, but left with a loss of 2-5.

Our next home game is Tuesday 9/11 @ 5:00 vs. Moberly, hope to see you there!
