The results were: 8:00 game: Hallsville 5 Sturgeon 11 The Lady Indians had some defensive miscues that led to 6 unearned runs for Sturgeon. The Indians scored 2 runs in the 1st inning and 3 in the 3rd inning but could not come back against Sturgeon. Emily Sayre 3-4, 2 runs Savannah Fisher 3-4, 2 runs, 1 RBI Kylie Bonnes 2-4, 1 RBI Michaella Johnson 2-3 Ashley Reed suffered the loss throwing six innings and striking out seven. The Lady Indians bounced back in their next contest and beat the Lady Wildcats. After 3 innings the Indiains led 4-3. They scored 4 in the 5th and 2 in the 6th to put it out of reach. Hallsville 10 New Bloomfield 5 Julie Gross 4-5, 3 runs, 2 RBI's (Solo HR in the 3rd) Savannah Fisher 2-4, 2 runs Hailey Crabtree 2-3, 1 run, 3 RBI's Natalie Oswald picked up the victory throwing a complete game and walking only one. 5th place game Hallsville 3 Harrisburg 2 The third game of the day put the Lady Indians against Harrisburg. After the 1st inning Hallsville had a 2-1 lead. Harrisburg tied it in the bottom of the 6th 2-2. In the bottom of the 7th Autumn McCord drew a lead off walk. With 2 outs Julie Gross hit a single and Hallsville had runners on the corners. Savannah Fisher finished it with a walk off single to give Hallsville the 3-2 victory and the consolation trophy. Julie Gross 2-3, 1 run Savannah Fisher 2-4, 1 run, 1 RBI Ashley Reed picked up the win throwing a complete game. She only allowed 3 hits, walked one and struck out 3. ?________________________ The Lady Indians schedule this week: Monday @ Cairo Tuesday- Home against Westran Thursday @ Salisbury
