Home » Girls' Basketball NewsLady Indians fall to HarrisburgFebruary 22, 2012 Hallsville High Schoolfrom Coach Brad Blakemore
We traveled to Harrisburg last night and lost 39 to 28. We had a poor start and got down 10-2 in the first 4 minutes, but fought back and trailed 20-16 going into half-time. Our defense was strong and gave us a chance, but our offense never found any traction. We actually made as many shot from the floor as they did(11), but they hit a couple more threes and made 9 more free throws than we did. This moves our record to 19-5 on the season. Our last home game is Friday night against South Callaway. We will be honoring all the Senior participants that evening. from JV Coach Matt Heet
Last night the JV Lady Indians put up a great effort, but fell to the Harrisburg Lady Bulldogs 46-30. The score is not indicative of how hard the girls played and the competitiveness of the game. Harrisburg hit some key shots throughout the game and slowly expanded their lead late in the fourth quarter.
